So you’re pregnant, it’s the festive season, and you still want to look good when you’re out celebrating with friends and family.
I don’t know about you, but I found maternity fashion a complete minefield while I was pregnant. It was a HUGE struggle to avoid looking like a big old frump, and let’s face it, you’re often feeling less than glamorous while pregnant, you definitely don’t need your clothes to be making you feel worse.
Now I’m absolutely not claiming to be some kind of fashionista (far from it in fact), but I thought I’d do some of the searching for you, and hopefully put a few ideas in your head to help you feel fabulous over this Christmas-time!
Pregnancy Christmas party outfits:
Whether you have a posh do for work, a December wedding, or just want to get dressed up for a special night out with friends, there’s no better time to get glammed up than at Christmas. I’ve pulled together a selection of glitzy and fun outfits to make you feel like a star.
Christmas Day Outfits for Pregnancy:
On Christmas Day you want to make sure that you’re comfortable, especially when you’re pregnant. And also that you’ve got room to eat! I don’t know about you, but there’s a lot of sitting around involved in our usual Christmas day, so tight fitting or uncomfortable fabrics are a real no-no for me. Here’s some of my picks for a comfy but stylish day. There’s a few things that can be dressed up or down, so super useful to have this time of year!
Maternity Christmas Jumpers:
I couldn’t do a Christmas fashion post without slipping in a few Christmas jumpers – love them or hate them!
Relaxed Maternity Outfits for Boxing Day:
After all the excitement of Christmas Day it’s great to have a bit more of a relaxing time once Boxing Day rolls around. Here’s some comfy maternity pieces great for chilling and indulging in more food!
I hope I’ve inspired you with some of these outfits, so you’ll be able to feel and look amazing throughout the festive period. Whatever you decide to wear, have a lovely Christmas in anticipation of meeting your newest little one!
And don’t forget, if you’re in south-east England and want some beautiful and relaxed images to remember your pregnancy, there’s more info on what I offer on my dedicated maternity photography page here.
Or maybe you’re after a newborn shoot? Capturing the squishiness when they very first arrive… I also offer newborn sessions, either in the comfort of your own home or outdoors. Have a look through some of my past sessions and find out more here.
